Madehurst Cricket Club Colts - 2019
Dear All,
This year we are planning to run cricket training for children aged 8-11 years (Years 4-6). Coaching is to be provided by James Miller who works with 1:1 (www.1-1ffpc.co.uk), who provide sports coaching for schools and clubs. We are planning to start the first session on Friday 26th April and will run initially for 6 weeks. The cost of the training will be £25 which can be paid at the first session. Depending on the demand we will also provide further coaching sessions after the initial 6 week period.
I would be very grateful if you could contact me by email to let me know whether your child(ren) wish to participate and also attend the first session.
We hope that your child(ren) will enjoy being a club member this season and will enjoy the cricket coaching, as well as the social interactions at the club. I attach a Player Profile form which I would be grateful if you could fill in and return to me (either electronically or at the first session). Please do ask me or any committee member or coach if you have other questions not answered in this letter.
The club is run by a number of volunteers. We welcome offers of help from all members and hope that, as you feel part of the club, you will feel able to get involved.
Whilst we hope your child will be happy and content at the club, we understand that sometimes questions, concerns or difficulties may arise. Please feel able to raise these as soon as possible, so we can rectify things at the earliest opportunity. If you have a question regarding coaching, please approach the coach in the first instance. However, please do not interrupt coaching sessions, especially nets practice, as this may distract the coach when he or she needs to be supervising the children. Our coaches will be happy to speak to you before or after training or at another convenient time.
If you have questions about kit requirements, training times, or any other matters relating to the club please speak to either myself (07867 396194) or the coach, James Miller, or any of our coach support workers.

- The club is always looking for parental help – please do consider helping out if you can.
