The Colts section was created in 2003, running sessions every weekend through the season. Our aim has always been to learn and play cricket in a fun and welcoming environment and we concentrate on coaching cricket skills, learning the game and playing matches with other local clubs.
The Colts section has been a great success over the years since and now has over 30 active members in two broad age groups: Under 11 and Under 13. Already several of the first group of Colts, now aged over 16, are playing for the adult team on Sundays, so helping to ensure that cricket continues to be played at Madehurst long into the future.07
In 2015, Colts training sessions for Under 13 and Under 11 takes place on Friday evenings through May, June and July. In addition league and friendly matches for both age groups take place on either Saturday or Sunday mornings. See colts fixtures page for more details.
