Saturday 11th September 2021 - 6.30pm
Join us for a night under the stars with our outdoor screening of The Italian Job (1969) starring Michael Caine, Noel Coward and Benny Hill. This British comedy caper film tells the story Charlie Croker (Michael Caine), the leader of a cockney criminal gang released from prison with the intention of doing a "big job" in Italy to steal gold bullion from an armoured security truck. The iconic mini cars take centre stage with the infamous scenes of cars racing through the narrow streets of Italy.

This outdoor cinema event is in aid of The Sussex Snowdrop Trust. The Trust provides vital nursing care at home for local children who have a life threatening or terminal illness. The aim of the charity is to provide specialist care from the Snowdrop Care at Home Team, which includes paediatric nurses, a very experienced Counsellor and Health Care Assistants. Most children live to adulthood but sadly sometimes the treatment fails, and children become terminally ill.
Nearly all children who become terminally ill, since Snowdrop started, have been at home, surrounded by their family, the exceptional Snowdrop nurses and sometimes our Counsellor during this very sad time. The Trust is currently supporting 68 families in the region from Emsworth to Arundel and towards Billingshurst.
The film will continue whatever the weather so please ensure you bring waterproofs if required.
The event has kindly been sponsored by Madehurst Cricket Club and Sanlam Wealth.
We look forward to seeing you there
